Garden visitor for Easter

This fox appeared in the garden a couple of times earlier in the month. It came around lunchtime again today, and sat for a few minutes before trotting off. The den is probably on the railway embankment which is three doors away.

Bathgate - there is a debate raging over whether we should be feeding them. They are scavengers but some people try to turn them into 'pets', sometimes with alarming results when they bite babies and young children. The RSPCA (our animal protection charity) "does not encourage or endorse the feeding of foxes."

We have these in the fields surrounding us we stood watching one day at Magpies swooping down almost repeatedly hitting the head of a fox we guessed it must have been to close to a tree nesting site ..
