Maybe mine opened today, too. It depends on the air temperature and we had the first really warm day on yesterday.

Yes, the warmth definitely brings it out. I had a lot of fruit from it in 2014. I gave it a good trim in 2015. It grows so fast.

I am not sure if trimming is a good thing for apricot tree. You have to reduce small fruits when they start to appear on branches in order to allow big fruits, but trimming definitely not.

You could be right Katarina. Here is hoping those beautiful blooms will turn into fruits, like it has done before. I shall let you all know.

Of course, it´s upon you what you will do with your apricot tree. Just if you are interested, here is the article on how to care about apricot tree. And the proper English term for what I said above is "thinning of the fruit.", not reduction of the fruits...:-)
