Sax in tufa

That is growing beautifully on the tufa. Ger van den Beuken was our speaker at Dunblane SRGC on Friday. He had us drooling over his garden which has a lot of tufa in it. He grows Saxifrages, Dionysia, Daphne and Androsaces. He reminded me of you and Bjs when he said if you grow something rare or difficult to find try and share it.

The Europeans seem to have a ready supply of tufa.Some of the pictures on the SRGC site are wonderful.

He was saying it is difficult to get in Belgium too now. He has obviously had the tufa for a very long time.
