LOL I never actually seen these in bloom yet Sandra, but they are suppose to be giant oversized red tulips that look too big. Let's hope the weather cooperates. It's been very cold here lately and these seem shy to come out.

Fingers crossed Sandra. Sure Dan, would love to see your pictures. These were promoted as very large red tulips. At least the foliage looks great.

I thought the variety Red Riding Hood were a dwarf version of tulips... Or there might be a variety with the reddish markings on the leaves called Little Red Riding Hood... Maybe I should consult one of my trusty gardening books... ;o)

wont be long , very popular in the UK , stands up to the weather with being so short normally planted on mass , big bulbs big flowers
I tend to forget 99% of bulbs in America come from Holland same as here...
