Small bulb, about 4 inches tall, becoming rare in its native Southern Greece and Peloponnese. Full sun, well-drained, light loamy soil. Struggles in pots, better outside.

Brian - as you can see, it's in my raised bulb bed. I wouldn't try it at ground level.
