Ancient Azalea

This azalea bush was in my parents' garden in 1957, now it's in mine. Not sure exactly how old it is.

No you are right, they are nearly transparent. This bush must be in shade when it blooms or the flowers get singed by the direct sun.

Similar story Amy, my father had this one, but he passed on a couple years ago so this hold special significance to me.
