thank you, the ones in the raised border have not been chopped down this year mainly because when I should have done them I had a severe attack of vertigo and could not climb up on to the raised border to prune them, they have not suffered though but think I might when I eventually get to chop them back at the end of the year. They are enormous. lol

I never thought any good could come from vertigo...but this just goes to show how wrong you can be ;-))

lol very true it certainly was a blessing in disguise, would rather have been able to prune them though - haven't had an attack for years.

It is nasty I know. I get it very occasionally and have medication on hand for if it strikes, but it's horrid isn't it. Touch wood it's ages since I've had an attack either.

never had an attack as bad as it was must be getting old. I did go down and get some tablets which I have never had to do in the past.

Oh the joys of getting older, stiff limbs, bad eye sight, selective hearing and vertigo lol!! It's enough to make you start drinking!!

I think maybe I should Waddy, was only saying this morning I cannot remember the last time I had an alcoholic drink. Its not that I do not like it the fact is it contains so many calories and I can live without the damned calories I get too many from my grub. lol.

Oh, life's too short, pour that wine lol! You can work off the calories lifting the glass !!
