I'm having all sorts of problems HB, that I've not had in the past, and I'm also blaming it on the weather. I'm just hoping it doesn't turn out to be as soggy as last year. :0(

My garden is as dry as dust, despite a reasonable shower yesterday. Why can't we share our sunshine and rain? ?

We had heavy rain forecast for the whole afternoon, Waddy, but although it did rain for a few hours, "heavy" is not quite how I would have described it. It has refreshed the garden, though - everything was looking rather dusty. I'm not complaining - a bit of rain every now and then suits just fine! I am sorry for people receiving heavy showers that batter the garden and wash off the last of the rose petals. That so often happens just when you're hoping for a few more days. Roses are so perfect in that last day before they fade or fall.

It started to rain again here about 6.00pm and it was quite heavy. My poor roses have taken quite a battering. Many of the buds have been rotting before they've even opened. I'm just hoping next week is a little better, but the forecast isn't that great :-((

That sounds really depressing, Hb. We have been really fortunate here. That's no comfort to you, though. I do hope you get some sunshine soon.
