Fuschia standards various sizes for my records

When I was growing up, my mother had fuchsia standards planted among her rose standards. A pain to cut the grass under them with a push mower.

Hywel I have got the pinching out correct this time to get the head balanced out I have even used a stone with string tied to a branch to pull it down a tad , they still all have the leaves on the stem as well ...

"Garden News" is huge and just about showing flowers.

I have had one caterpillar , one branch with greenfly but NO white fly.

Hywel what do you feed yours and how often at this time of year

I am feeding twice a week at half strength and a foliage spay with seaweed once a fortnight ....

That sounds fine. Fuchsias are hungry plants. I usually use diluted Tomato feed about twice a week.
I read somewhere that it is a good idea to feed Fuchsias 'little and often' so that's why I do it like that.
I've never used a foliar feed. Maybe I'll try it this year :)
