Roscoea wardii - 2016

Relatively new to cultivation, this roscoea grows to around 12 inches in moist soil in a shady situation. The colour of the flowers makes it readily identifiable.

Some of the flowers get nibbled occasionally here, but in general the plants aren't touched. Odd isn't it?

that's rather nice,problem I have with this species in general is keeping slugs and snails off them
