Kniphofia Tawny King Grrrr

Hi Hb when I went to look it looked like a big chunk has been eaten from the stalk and therefore flopped down can only assume slugs but weird how they decide to climb up that far to do damage, little blighters, if it had just bent over then maybe the winds but definitely chunk missing ????? :-/

Have a look in the foliage ... I found lots of tiny snails lurking within mine recently! :o(

Tawny King is one of my new ones this year but no sign of anything yet , probably settling in.

slugs and snail havnt been a problem with me this year but I do have a explosion of baby blackbirds in the garden which must be sorting them out ... and with only one cat where I live allowed to go out the house and that has a bell on, so I think a more relaxing year for the birds as well.

Bought two new ones Gg but no sign of flowers on those, yes it's a shame was doing well, but no more flowers I don't think anyway , do feel things have been nibbled more here ......
