Wanna talk about the weather? We were under a tornado threat all day yesterday with black ominous clouds whirling above my house - taunting & teasing me. Then the deluge started with lightening striking all around me. Try living with that, lol!

so I normally count 3 days then we hit by the tail end of it coming off the Atlantic

Lovely colour, do you get Gall Midge problems on your Daylilies in the States?

Hi Siris. I've never seen this on any of my plants or in my garden. I've never heard it discussed on any of the 'Garden Programs' I listen to. I can't speak for the other 49 states, but I've not been aware of gall midge except on this site. I conclude no, we do not have gall midge in the US. It could all change tomorrow.
