There are reports from certain quarters that this plant is a thug. New to me here at Devonia, so the jury is still out. A moist, heavy soil in part shade suits it best.

Red Dragon grows the biggest for me. This, it's first year, it seems a bit lax in growth, that is not very upright.

My Painters Palette is the best it has ever been. All the rain we have had? but I did take an apple tree out of this border. Also first time ever, found a seedling of Painters Palette, disturbed soil? Bit like Poppys and disturbed soil?
