Thanks Stan: These are foundlings.. Whenever I see interesting blossoms I try to bring home seeds! There are many plants now in my garden which started out growing along the road side: echium vulgare, chicory, (both blue), yellow and small, sweet scented white viola, ox-eye daisies, rudbeckia, sweet white clover, orange day lilies, Asclepias, Baby Blue-eyes, lady's bedstraw, cinqfoil, loosestrife (purple and yellow) , soapwort, mallow, wild columbine and Clematis virginiana.

I left out mulleins, verbena and meadow rue! I will post a pic of Echium vulgare for you Sandra. It is not like the Canary Island Echiums or the ones you grow so tall and handsome. Their colour is outstanding but they grow to about 4 ft tall...and that's it!
