LOL, Sandra! Delonix was posting pics of all the lovely blossoming trees in Southern California and I said that our trees usually only blossom in spring..which gave me a silly little idea of "snow blossom" on the fir trees in our winter landscape! oh the thought of it... snow in July. When we lived in the far north our neighbour told me that she had seen snow in every month...except July... the first three weeks of July are usually all the summer they see in the far north...everything emerges and blossoms and fruits (or whatever) and is gone in three to four weeks. With melting glaciers on Greenland, it's hard to believe the changes they're seeing. frightening.
