Deciduous shrub growing to five or six feet. Flowers now and again in the autumn.

It was planted in the autumn of 2006, so nearly ten years old now. This is one you can prune quite heavily, taking all new growth back to within a bud of the old wood. I reckon to do this in about mid April when you can see the new shoots starting.

Thanks that would be most useful in our garden...a good coastal plant, and one that can be pruned severely!!
