Callistemon linearis - 2016

Shrub growing to 12 feet tall and wider. Planted twenty yeas ago, three quarters of this shrub was killed by the hard winter of 2010, but it has come back as strongly as ever.

DD - they have evolved to regenerate after forest fires. Young plants were killed by that winter, but established ones grew back again.

We have a white one which survived, but the red died although it was several years old....it was a tender variety, we have pink one which has never flowered, think it needs moving!!
