Haha! What's sleep? With this heat and a tricky combination of asthma and hayfever has meant none for the last two days!! And we spend a lot of time out there in the evenings and the ponds very visible from the house :) so they've paid for themselves

This looks so good can you explain how you have done this?
I also have hayfever and on top of my asthma its been a very difficult time. hope it settles down for us both soon.

Yes! Thankyou for being able to sympathise too DRC! I hope it calms down in the next few days. I bought these lights from World of water, 'Bermuda triple Led pond spotlights' they can be used both in and out of the pond, they each come with three yellow, red, blue, and green covers to cover the lenses for different light effects. I have two on the pond bottom submerged to illuminate the fish so that they are visible inside the house and I have one placed st the bottom corner out of the pond next to the Japanese ornament to illuminate that. Over time they require a quick wipe with a cloth or kitchen roll just to get much off of their lenses. I paid £35 for them and at the side of others they have proven their worth so much so that my Nextdoor neighbours now have some for their very small pond and rockery! They have a circuit breaker with them too! I highly recommend them!
