Thanks Klahanie. I have 4 tomato plants about 6 feet. Each a different variety.

That sounds like lots of tomatoes :-) Do you do some processing as well such as pasta sauce? Love fresh tomato from the vine.

I would like to learn how to make a nice pasta sauce. I usually have them along side my bacon & eggs in the morning - halved, roasted, a little salt & pepper, wonderful. I'm also a big fan of grilled cheese with ham & tomato. I give a lot away to neighbors & friends. Thanks for your comment.

There's nothing like a glut of tomatoes to make chutney! ;o)

There you go - another great idea. I've noticed my eye sight has improved noticeably

I had a glut last year, so many it was almost overwhelming. In the end I roasted them and used half to make soup and the rest I froze to make a base for stews. Nearly opted for a bigger freezer.

That's a great Idea; Soups, Sauce, Grilled Cheese with Ham & Tomatoe, Pizza, They're ever nice along side scrambled eggs - roasted.

Plenty of work to do there Paul in your new Kitchen! I can vouch for the goodies that Poppylover makes in her new Kitchen...! ;o) I've been busy stewing Rhubarb and making Crumbles in mine...! The freezer(s) are looking just so healthy...! :D
