Are you trying to cloud prune the shrub in the background?

No, its always been cut that way, three large pigeons were sat on the front which has pulled it forwards, its the tree that has the bird feeders in. Its usually one neat tree but because of the pigeons and the fact that when they were sat on it, it was a rainy day the combined weight pulled it forwards :)
