I have found that most often plants will grow best where they are least expected. This poppy is a Pop-Up. Have another in the middle of the kale!

This is so true. I planted some cosmos seeds in a pot and none came out but I have a fabulous strong looking cosmos plant in the gravel path near by. Which I left.
