Morning Glories..anything but glorious

No rain on the Island either Lori....for several months.

We've had quite a lot of rain this week, water butts overflowing and temperatures to go with it, hardly over 20C, usually under, and that wind...

I thought it rained every day on the Island, Klahanie!? Come to think of it when we lived in the lower mainland (Langley) August was very dry..but by September it rained nearly all day every day! How quickly we forget.

Not in summer Lori, we get all the rain in winter. We have very dry summers and not as wet winters as mainland. We are in Olympic Mountains rain shadow. So Victoria has much less rain than Vancouver for example.
if you google 'Olympic Mountains rain shadow' it will show the area affected.
