Hollyhocks and hydrangea

Treasure a year without rust, I now look back with nostalgia on all those hollies I grew without a speck of rust on them. So much for my gardening skills, after all it'sjust the climate that did it. At least something good has come from your dire weather conditions this year.

I just checked the pond and it's totally dried up! ..even the stream beside the road, which usually runs all year is stopped and the little minnows are trapped in puddles! I could cry.
