Lovely weedy corner.

Ragweed is such a pretty plant until it blooms. For years I had runny eyes and an itchy nose. Then we moved to the north where the season is short enough that ragweed can't mature and my allergy stopped. I found a dozen lovely healthy plants in the piles of "fill" that the road crew scooped from the ditches... can't win. This summer I declared war on hogweed and ragweed!

Whats that lovely little rose called please Resi?

I don't know Karen, these 2 small bush roses were some of the very few plants I saved from the previous owner. They have a lovely not very strong fragrance, tea like, semi double. Repeat all summer, they just dont stop. I posted some photos of close ups. They seem reluctant to fully open and show their yellowy centre untill they are past their best.
