We have not had the quantity of butterflies but lots of varieties. Thank you Resi :O) Fingers crossed we get more next year.

Barbara, here's a strange thing, I cleaned out the GH this morning and found a Red Admiral, with closed wings, on an empty hanging basket. It is alive, so I have left it in there!

Every time I try to take a photo of a butterfly they fly off and I never succeed.....you must have the knack....love them though. ?

Maggie think it was that drunk on nectar it could not budge bit like me and hubby after Sunday lunch. lol. Some of the butterflies are very flighty, there is a small orange one, very tiny which never ever lands near by so never been able to i.d. it.
