Cats yank down a pup...

Two little cats somehow clawed of this staghorn fern pup. The second that they've don that to. I decided to mount them on the front yard Ash tree..why not? Give it a shot.

Thanks Jen. Even on the tree I hedged my bets..after a blob of moss behind that pup,I put a piece of brick on top. Cat discouraging I hope.
It was also the first time in 40 years I saw the real honest to goodness roots on a staghorn. Tiny wiry little things. Somehow, they meld on to tree's.
