I was so worried back in February. I've never had a grape vine before so read up on the net how to look after and prune it. Last year when we moved in the vine had hardly any grapes on. I cut it back hard in February then again in summer, back to near the bunches and its now covered in bunches.

I'm not surprised Sandra. You all have had alot on with planning and getting ready for the wedding and your back. How is your back doing? What with star and the 2 dogs, I'm hoping they will keep the birds off long enough, fingers crossed.

My daughter claimed them when she saw we had a grape vine as she wants to have a go at making wine so after reading net, it said leave all bunches on rather then thin them out. Means bunches are smaller but lots of them. I better get some to try :-).

Well done Jen....you've obviously got the knack! I see them for sale here, but I really don't believe they would fruit.
