I love this plant. It does 'walk' but isn't a thug.

when i first discovered this site I'd put all garden designs on my favourites but now I'm focussing more on the actual plants! Yes I think a little book would be good for when we visit nurseries/ garden centres etc so I know what to look for. Does this plant self seed then or just spread?

No, it grows under the ground and along and pops up a bit further away, if you see what I mean!

I do see. We've got a plant that does that. Don't know what it is though, it's a bit like a bottle brush and has green flowers. It'll have to go when we make a rockery sloping down to the patio because this one will swamp everything else
