Amy it is hardy here, we have two Yellow Wave both doing well,
Is your trachy a Waggy like this one, or a fortunei? I find the Waggy copes with the wind much better because the leaves are much stiffer, our fortunei has the odd bent leaf, usually after very high winds....

Ah thats the answer then Angela after a quick check-up I find mine is T. Fortunei .. trust me to get the wrong one Lol ...

I love the structure of these ,is the yellow wave hardy Angela and how do you keep your Trachycarpus looking so perfect ? mine often has broken bent leaves hanging down :o(
