I use to freeze my fruit when I had an allotment and share with close neighbours.

I am getting to old Thrupennybit, to be climbing up on the tree it takes hours to pick them I'd say there's about 600 + apples.
My little helper in the photo is Charlie he is 3 my youngest grandson

Charlie looks like he's enjoying helping with the harvest. Won't be long before he's the one up the tree...lol

Ahrr bless he is cute you might of enspired him to help out when he is older I was the same age when my grancher welsh for grandad grew a large bed of pansey s .

Anne makes loads of apple tarts stews a pot full and fills freezer bags and freezes apple tarts and stewed apple. We supply our family with large bags of apples, then we share out rest which is about 50% to neighbours and friends.
