That is pretty colour. I think I should plant more cosmos next year. Did you plan from seed Feverfew?

This plant came up from seed left in the soil from last year's plants. It was in the wrong place really but I left it where it was hoping that it wouldn't grow too tall, it has.
However I'm glad I left it now as I can see it from my bedroom window. My neighbour's Cosmos is still flowering nicely too. They are always grown from seed & are so easy, the seed being big & easy to handle. The weather is still mild, tho' were being told that it will turn colder tomorrow,Tuesday.

I always sow Cosmos seed ... tried a short yellow variety this year called Xanthos ... quite pretty.

I planted some seeds this spring but have never seen any plants to develop from them . Only cosmos I have now is from seedlings I bought in GC. I will try again next spring.
Deer does not seem to be interested in them and I like the simple long lasting flowers with lacy leaves.
Will look up the yellow ones too Shirley. Thanks for mentioning them.

Klahanie, I think it is best to sow the Cosmos in a seed tray & plant out when they are nice little plants. Watch out for slugs tho!
