Ampelopsis brevipedunculata 'Elegans' - 2016 (Ampelopsis brevipedunculata 'Elegans')

Climber, mainly grown for its variegated leaves. It has small tendrils for support, but I find these are not man enough for the job, and the plant needs tying to its support. Berries are produced after a hot summer. Best in light shade in soil that remains moist. Grows to around five feet but is always late to start in the spring.

I have one Andrew I like the foliage and love the pink stems , I haven't had any berries in fact I don't think I had any flowers unless I missed them ... mine is 2 years old ...

Amy - the flowers are small and white and easy to miss. They are carried in late July and early August.
