Cemetery..

Is this the cemetery that was in the Alfred Hitchcock movie, Vertigo, from 1958? It's been in a number of movies hasn't it?

No,I looked on the net and they said it was Mission Dolores in San Francisco. They do resemble.

How many old "Missions" are there? Are they mostly public land now or wineries or what? It's a lovely place to spend eternity.

Not sure.but I think Missions are mostly owned by the Parks. Some still have congregations.
This cemetery is run by some order I read a few years ago. They made news because in the open lands behind,they put in a wine grapes orchard.
If I ever see a bottle for sale,it would be nice to put on display.

would love to do the tour of the California wineries. ..bucket list. ;-)
