It glows in the morning sun, that's how I noticed it. it isn't typical of its shape though. I'll have to look for some photos from the summer.

Its in a sheltered spot and we had a mild autumn and early winter.
there doesn't appear to be any more buds left that will open. that's true for all the roses in the garden.
