Lovely Lori portrait does work on my phone it goes sideways like yours Lori only landscape works keeping the viewer to the top a years back it worked either way.

Yours is far earlier than mine, mine being only 1-2 cm!

sorry if this is misleading Tommymoo... I posted this in desperation as my garden is still under snow...this was from our first year here in this garden (2011) We have had 6 years of crazy (rotten) spring weather. No similarities in the weather from one year to the next... 2012 we lost our apple crop to a late frost.. 3 days of minus double digit temps... I'm beginning to worry about what we face this year.
No idea what is at play with the orientation of the pics, either, Tpb and Bjs. I took this with a digital camera...not a phone. I guess I have gremlins again. My computer doesn't like the fact that I have thousands of photos.
The peonie in this pic declined with each year and last summer in desperation I moved it. So will be interesting to see how it came through the winter in it's new spot.

Lori, I remember we also had the coldest winter in 2012 (Feb, that was). Temps went down to -17 degrees (c) and I lost loads of plants.

I don't take pictures often with a Phone but been told you have to keep the viewer to the top for landscape or potrait
