this is along the margin of an hardwood forest, Siris. I have a clump of red ones in my garden, though. They come up every year like clockwork, bloom beautifully and some years they produce a red seed pod. They require some special placing to ensure that they are not disturbed.

Oh to come across a clump like that in the wild, so beautiful. My little Trillium collection is under an apple tree. I am trying not to disturb them.
