this pic was taken in 2013 and I posted it recently so that when I finally am able to photograph this years blooms I can tell if the clumps are expanding or shrinking! (I believe I mentioned some time ago how the neighbour's pigs had made a mess of some of the wildflower meadows.)

Ah......yes, pigs would be a challenge in any garden! Lol

(The farmer who had the pigs...now has goats! at least they keep them contained, dread to think what could happen if they got loose in the garden.) I've been toying with the idea of getting some pygmy angora goats for fibre rather than milk. The kids are just springy little bundles of adorableness... I need fences and a warm barn first. I'm dreaming again! lol...

Funny, I was just thinking the other night how nice it would be to have goats. But we had three when I was a teen and they eat EVERYthing! Even the bristles on a paintbrush! So not great for a gardener. They would also do anything to escape their allotted space. They are....totally...adorable :)

yes... they are omnivorous houdinis! The only other option would be to tether them and that is just dangerous... they could climb a tree and hang themselves! Still, I have been thinking about where I could locate a little goat compound! I see pics and videos of a goat farm in Oregon..and they are in mid kidding season, at present. The little cuties are clothed in onezies and sweaters to keep them from getting a chill.. ! :-))
