Generally, I'm not a fan of bergenias, but I really like the flowers on this variety. Unfortunately the foliage lets it down, with odd leaves dying at different times throughout the year.

Apparently vine weevils are partial to Bergenia......

Yes, you see notches in the edges of the leaves, but they don't appear to do any other damage.
