I have decided that if it's already growing in my garden, I'm not going to change the name just because of some pesky taxonomist. Lamprocapnos indeed.

Dicentra to me too. Mine is only a few inches high yet - the pink one is more advanced than the white one but its in a sunnier spot so perhaps that's why.

Why on earth do they feel the need to change it's name ,and not a nice one at that ! It will stay Dicentra to me too..

We do not do well with these plants, unfortunately, because I love them, but the common blue leafed, white flower ones spread all over the garden....
