This is a bench filled with sharp sand and the pots are plunged up to their rim. It's covered when it rains.

Covered. What every time it rains?

Rain, snow or thick fog. There are a few plants in here that wont take wet, particularly in Winter. This would be ok uncovered, but I only have the 1 bench.

I hope you have an easy system to cover that alpine bench, it looks quite large to me.

Really pretty. Lost my purple suaveolens by putting in the garden, need to be kept in a pot like yours. See you have a raised gravel bed full of treasures.
