The Pulsatilla really suffered in the searing heat....

I should have divided my Geums in the winter. They are looking awful, far too big and tatty...and no flowers yet. But not to worry. I am planning to remove everything from the raised beds this autumn...get rid of all that rotting wood edging....and dump all that awful clay subsoil that they filled it with...and just get everything back to ground level so I don't have to water it every day. Then I can have a better planting scheme. So the Geums can get sorted out then.

Siris I had to prune all the heads off....
Karen that sounds like a large undertaking!! but a good idea, raised beds can be a pain....

Yeah...will need a helping hand and a large skip! Keep meaning to call a landscaper, but keep forgetting.
