I never learn my lesson with Androsace.Although I've managed to keep this for a year.

Fingers crossed you can grow it on for a few more years. It is quite hard to find information about growing specific plants. Sharing what you did to get it to this stage will help others like me who are at the bottom of the learning curve. I got some seed of A. laggerii, A. vandellii and A. villosa at the Perth show and hope I can get them to germinate and flower.

Those should all grow away well.Ihad villosa grow on for a couple of years,then the usual die back.
I keep them very well drained with shade in the summer,but they still all seem to go the same way.I bought another in Spring.If this one and that go the same way,I'll just have to give up on them.

The ones I grew from seed have lived outside taking all the weather could throw at them. They were planted in the ground. I wonder if they prefer that to being in a pot. Could you be too kind to them?
