Do you put vaseline on your pots Brian? Julia was just saying it works a treat.

No never tried that but they are all up off the ground,not easy to see but each container is supported on an 8mm steel rod frame so the container is never in contact with the ground ,not 100% snail proof but better than 90 % I do use a few pellets tucked under the leaves as back up,the frames are very simple construction I made while still working .

No Sue...on the rim of the pot. But you'd have to do it early on as once they find the plants they just hide in amongst them.

You could nt help but to remember this lovely colours and markings.

Phil I could not grow them in the ground all are dwarf or miniature in pots or containers off the ground.

the ones you kindly sent to me are doing well too Brian, moved the sink gardens up to my little greenhouse area and its more shaded up there and they love it. I too like Remember Me it is one of my favourites, I love H. June too which, in my opinion, lol is very much like Remember Me but bigger of course.

I agree...I think remember me has a brighter yellow. But they are both beautiful and two of my favourites. I have been lucky with the slugs so far...not many of mine have unfurled yet, but the ones that have look pretty clean. I think its too dry for the slugs!

Karen, I was joking, because none of my Hostas are in pots, all in the ground.
