Your welcome so they like company :o)) yes I can just see the day lilly in buds.

I do the same with Acidantheras and Ixia. As long as the foliage doesn't shade a dormant type daylily, it works.

I had the dutch Iris growing in that spot before the daylilys but both put up with each other ...

Just as well 3pb pointed out the Daylily buds, wouldn't have noticed them, quite early. Like the yellow on the Dutch Iris.
