Isn't it gorgeous? I am always tempted to try to grow one in a pot and keep it short. They look lovely grown that way. My daughter is doing that with a pink flowering one. Sadly it has no flowers this year, but she is twining it up a pole and it's about 6' tall so far. I think I'll have a look at it today and see if we can get it to stop growing up and start bushing out at the top. I keep thinking if she ends up moving to the south (which looks likely just now as her BF is in the Army) then I will 'inherit' the Wisteria! There have to be some compensations for your daughter moving south! However, it hasn't happened yet. :)

Wisteria Dwarf Amethyst Falls
I bough one in flower last year and is covered in buds again this they can it seem grow quite large eventually but you do not have to wait for flowers.
