Gingernut and Cameleon (my names) were from the same pod about 2010, offspring of Sultan's Palace. Both now are decent clumps.

Query, If I understand Wylie correctly, the name of a Daylies should not be put in quotation marks unless it has been registered. I would assume the same applies to unregistered Iris? Wouldn't want to upset anybody!

My thoughts are , you can call it what you want as its your seedling but if not registered any one could re use that name or its already registered to another Iris ?
I am quoting what you have said !
Plus you are only using to keep a reference for yourself but Wylie is the expert to ask.

I think it is the quotation marks that denote a plant has been registered. But who uses punctuation marks nowadays! Me, cause I'm a senior citizen!
