it's Groot

Really sorry but hubby wanted me to post this. Its a dwarf bean plant, 1st time trying them, only came through today so showed hubby and him being a Marvel fan, all he could say was "it's Groot" ( guardians of the galaxy film) sorry again lol. I'll keep him away from my posting in future.

Thanks for way how to get rid of black fly Dawn. It had only broken through the compost yesterday and did all that growth in one day. The bits of black are small bits of compost on it :-). Was amazed at how quickly it sprung up, thats why showed hubby and all he could say was it looked like the character in the film. Lol.

Lol Jen he has been watching to many films.
if you plant an Oxide Daisy a little way from runner beans black fly will attact the Daisy not the beans a secret gardening tip I was given from the men off the allotments years ago when I had two allotments.

Your welcome on the allotment if the men got a good plant that cropped well they would let one of the plants go to seed knowing the crops would be good the following year they always grew extra of what they needed for this purpose.

Looks like its getting black fly mix garlic powder with water and spray to deter black fly works for roses to.
