Sounds like you like Geums Oliveoil. Mrs Bradshaw does have very tall flower stalks, they flopped all over the lawn last year, so I have put in supports of short canes and string. So far it seems to be working. I like that the foliage of Geums is semi evergreen and gives ground cover over winter. The Geum Koi that I have is a lot smaller, but of the two it is the longest flowering.

they are a new plant in my garden Numbers, so will keep an eye out for them needing to be staked, at the minute they are standing up ok even after all the wet weather.

added this one this last week, they are very pretty. Also got Lemon drops and Totally Tangerine, although not sure I like how tall they have grown, maybe it is lack of light again in my borders. lol. Well lemon drops is smaller but the others have romped away.
