Had it I.D. last year, read up on how to look after it and it seems to have worked. I love the contrast of the blue of the Wisteria just behinnd it and the pink.

Yes they compliment each other.

It does flower it's little heart out. Previous owners did choose some lovely plants Karen.

Yes...and there was a lovely big one of these in my garden when I came too. Broke my heart removing it, but it was on the edge of the big raised bed. Daft place to plant a big shrub. I have a baby one, its just flowering now too. :)

It must have been hard removing it but glad you got a baby one. Think there are a lot of people who just buy plants without reading what they need, end size and so on. We had a few here, some lovely trees but planted in just the totally wrong place.

Oh, one of those was a young fig tree, they had planted it in the darkest corner of the whole garden, luckly, small enough that I could move it. Now planted in middle of new trellis and I'm trying to fan train it lol. :-).

Ooh...good luck with the Fig Jen. I've just taken mine out of the Greenhouse after advice from Moongrower. I hope it will be ok! Yes, people take plants they like and don't think about where's best to plant them...but I've done the same myself so can't be too critical. I even have plants in the same container that like dry soil and wet soil...bonkers!

Yes, we can, but I bet you wouldn't plant a tree with the expected high of 30ft inches from neighbours house wall lol.

yes I saw that questions, I wrote about my last fig tree in Kent, got so many fruit I didn't know what to do with them all, if had eaten them all, knowing what syrup of figs does, I would have been in trouble lol.

Erm....no, I don't think I would Jen! :)
