Fragrant Clematis, Flowers April-May

This plant is a prolific resident, grows across boundaries and up fruit and pine trees alike, approx 30 years old.
Presently growing at a height of 30ft. Flowers in May and has a wonderful deep perfume akin to magnolia - any suggestions as to type? Also would love some suggestions as to how best method of propagation as naturally by now it's quite leggy? Thank you.
